If I had to summarize myself in one sentence, I think it would be this: I want to be a force for good in the world. By that, I mean I want to do the right thing every time. I want to write code that can be read by others. I want to follow a pattern when designing that can be followed and expanded upon as technology changes. I want to create experiences that are easy to use and beautiful to the eye. I want to be humble and learn from others as we grow together.
I am a full-stack developer with an emphasis on UI. My favorite thing always involves creating something whether it is an elegant technical solution or designing engaging content; I am passionate about it. I am a lifelong musician and writing code is much like writing songs. There is a pattern and structure to everything. When you find the pattern and interact with it, you can change and expand it into a new creation that you brought into the world. That is music to my eyes.
I am passionate about UI/UX. I love to create experiences that are user-centric, with a mobile-first approach. I am a life-long graphic designer and I love to make beautiful graphics to include them in HTML5 / CSS3 web applications. I enjoy using Adobe Dream Weaver and Microsoft Visual Studio to ensure experiences I build work across all resolutions and screen sizes. I love using jQuery to make things move and sizzle.
I am passionate about building web applications in WordPress or C#.net. I am comfortable building SQL / MySQL databases and setting up user authentication systems. In addition to my front-end experience, I also enjoy organic search engine optimization work.
