    What exactly does that mean?

I focus on improving website performance in the areas of leads submitted, Search Engine Placement, Site Loading, and Multi-Device support. If your website comes up more often, has a lead generation process, and works well for all devices, you are more likely to achieve your desired results.

    GT Metrix Score:

This measurement affects the placement of your website in search results. The better your website performs, and is coded for modern technology, the higher it will rank next to a website that does not perform as well. I use tools to analyze your website, and then make the changes necessary to improve the performance results.

    WordPress Tuning

WordPress is a fantastic tool for building a website, but it must be managed right from the start to ensure it does not get overloaded with code that will slow everything down. I always seek to install as few plug-ins as necessary while balancing needed functionality. Often by re-configuring the way CSS and JavaScript files are pulled site load time can be improved.

    CDN

A content delivery network (CDN) is a group of geographically distributed servers that speed up the delivery of web content by bringing it closer to where users are. Data centers across the globe use caching, a process that temporarily stores copies of files, so that you can access internet content from a web-enabled device or browser more quickly through a server near you. CDNs cache content like web pages, images, and video in proxy servers near to your physical location. This allows you to do things like watch a movie, download software, check your bank balance, post on social media, or make purchases, without having to wait for content to load.

CDNs can also provide websites with increased protection against malicious actors and security concerns like distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks.

Because of the fees associated with this, I recommend this to my larger clients.

    Image Optimization

Loading images into WordPress is easy but it also allows all sizes of images depending on your settings. If you loaded a beautiful image for your website background, it may make your whole website slower. Optimizing the image and other media files used by the website can have a positive effect on performance.

I will go through your entire website optimizing all images and create a process to ensure the approved sizes are uploaded in the future.

    Minify Scripts

Performing this process on your Script and CSS files will improve your website loading time. There are plug-ins that will do it for you, but I often minify my own files to avoid installing another plug-in.

    Hosting Changes

If you need to move your website, or modify your hosting environment, I can help you. I have over twenty years of experience dealing with web hosting providers, and I speak their language.

    Automated Reporting

Properly measuring performance must include reporting and historical data. You need to understand where each lead came from, who submitted it, and what was the trigger. I will set up automated reporting to put this information in your hands.

    Lead Submissions

Generating sales and leads for your business is my top priority, and it is part of every recommendation I make. The general philosophy I follow is to drive qualified traffic to the website, provide a delightful experience for potential customers, and then have multiple ways for the customer to either buy, get a quote, or get information about the products and or company.

    ROI Reporting

In order to understand how successful a technology investment is, there should be as much cost reporting as possible combined with current revenue reporting from web channels to understand actual ROI

I use multiple reporting tools to provide as much depth as needed to understand cost / benefit ratio.
